Physical examination, lead screening, nutritional counseling, and immunizations are provided to children of Barton County by appointment.  If parents want to request sliding fees for Well Child exams they need to bring proof of household income to the Health Department prior to the services.

Clinic services are for children from birth through high school.

Services include:

• Well Child physical examination up to age 6

• Immunizations

• Nutrition counseling

• Referrals to other services

• WIC certification

• KAN Be Healthy Exam as required by Medicaid

Parent or guardian must be present at clinic appointments, unless prior arrangements are made.

The Barton County Health Department will provide the HealthWave Application for parents and assist them as needed (applying for medical coverage for a child).  Please call (620) 793-1902 ext. 101 for further information.
