The primary function of this department
is to provide or coordinate the engineering services that are required
by the County. Project engineering includes design, survey, plans
and specifications. The department currently designs or reviews
the design of major projects within the County. Construction engineering
services are provided by staff. Typical projects include pavement,
bridges, drainage, landfill, traffic studies and geographic information
systems.
