Works with all levels of government and
with volunteer and private agencies on activities that
include mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery
issues that affect Barton County and its citizens.
•Responsible
for Local Emergency Operations Plan that provides an All
Hazards approach for responding to emergencies.
•Requests
Local Disaster Declarations from the Commissioners
before, during or after a crisis situation.
•Brings
together needed resources during a crisis situation.
•Liaison
with State, Federal and Local Agencies before, during
and after an emergency.
•Local
point of contact for Homeland Security.
