Health tests, consultations
and educational programs to help identify, treat, or prevent
chronic diseases are available to individuals and groups. Health
tests offered include: blood pressure, blood sugar, and
hemoglobin.
Program topics include: tobacco use prevention,
smoking cessation, nutrition, physical activity promotion, HIV
prevention & risk reduction, bioterrorism, family
planning, sexually transmitted diseases, tuberculosis, blood
pressure and wellness, food safety, injury prevention,
communicable disease control, etc. Programs may be provided by
Public Health Nurses, Registered Dieticians or Health
Educators.
