The Solid Waste Department is responsible for
developing and implementing programs for the Landfill and to protect
the environment through recycling and other related efforts in
Barton County. The Landfill, located at NE 30 Road, is open 8:00
a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.,
Saturday.
Email has become a regular means of
communication. While the County urges you to contact
officials with questions, Open Records Requests should be made
via the telephone or in person. We ask that citizens
remember that email is normally monitored during regular office
hours. However, training and other scheduled events often
take personnel away from immediate access to their email
accounts.
