The Kansas Bureau of Waste Management is
responsible for programs associated with the handling and disposal of
waste materials in Kansas. Locally, the Barton County Solid Waste
Landfill collects all materials for disposal. Material is accepted
from both the public and private handlers.
Uniform
regulations apply for the proper disposal of waste. For instance,
incoming covered loads, no disposal of tires or hazardous waste and
separation of material are just some of the requirements.
