2021 Cold Mix Asphalt Proposal
Barton County is seeking bids from qualified contractors to mix approximately 25,000 tons of cold mix asphalt at our County sandpit near Great Bend. Barton County will supply all aggregates and liquid asphalt. The selected contractor will set up a drum mixer asphalt plant and provide all necessary equipment, labor, and fuel for the mixing and stockpiling operation as specified in the contract documents. Bidding documents may be obtained from the Barton County Engineer’s Office by calling 620-793-1808. Bids must be submitted using the form in the bidding documents. Sealed bids will be accepted until March 11, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at the Barton County Clerk's Office, 1400 Main Street, Room 202, Great Bend, KS 67530, after which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
