Barton County Communications / 911 created and processed 52,984 dispatch cards in Enterpol CAD (Computer Aided Dispatch). This includes officer initiated traffic stops or service of civil process/court documents.
Dispatchers handled a total of 69,074 phone calls from both incoming and outgoing lines.
Of those, 13,257 were 911 calls, and 55,817 administrative calls answered from the public
and officers/deputies. Of the incoming calls, 99.33% of them were answered with 15 seconds
or less. We average 90.87% of our 911 calls being from wireless devices.
Dispatchers handled approximately 717 calls for approval of controlled burns in 2023
