Community Outreach Officer – Barton County is accepting applications for Community Outreach Officer for Central Kansas Community Corrections until position is filled. Works with offenders to increase success on Community Corrections. Duties include job search activities, transporting offenders as needed and other like tasks. Works approximately 16 hours per week, day to evening hours, Monday through Friday, occasional weekends. Applicant must at least 21 years old, clean KBI Criminal and Child Abuse Registry Check, drug screen test, Kansas driver’s license, Barton County resident. Requires working knowledge of computer applications, good written and verbal communication skills. Successful applicant must pass pre-employment drug screen and physical assessment.
