Kansas Ave Road Work
Starting Monday, June 24th the City of Great Bend will be working on Kansas Avenue from 10th to 16th Streets. This will close the driving lanes and parking areas. Parking for the Courthouse, Sheriff’s office, Detention Center, and Health Department along Kansas Avenue may not be available or easily accessible. Parking will be available on Main St., Broadway Ave., and Lakin Ave. The city anticipates the project taking approximately 60 working days to complete depending on weather conditions. Drive carefully and watch for the construction workers.
