Juvenile Intensive Supervised Probation
Juvenile Intensive Supervision Probation (JISP) is a highly structured/supervised community-based program which works with juvenile offenders who have previously failed in traditional court service probation, or have committed a serious offense, but do not yet need an out-of-home or juvenile correctional facility placement. The JISP philosophy is that selected offenders can be effectively managed in the community without presenting an increased risk to the public through the cost-effective use of community-based supervision, cognitive tools, evidence-based practices, and control interventions.
