COUNTY WORKS DIRECTOR - Manages the resources and personnel in the Road and Bridge Department, Noxious Weed Department and County owned Memorial Parks. Supervises and trains internal supervisory staff to include: planning and coordinating department activities and daily work assignments to incorporate safety. This position operates construction and maintenance equipment including single-axle and/or heavy-duty tandem-axle trucks. Travels to work with families and law enforcement to determine placement for youth. Must possess strong conflict resolution skills, ability to recognize need and refer to area resources. Administers testing to determine placement and referrals. Excellent written, oral communications.
