Public Works & Economic Development Facilities Grant Program
Barton County, Kansas, is seeking assistance through the EDA for Investments for the Public Works and Economic Development Facilities grant program. The Asphalt Overlay for Industrial Park project, located in Great Bend, involves the rehabilitation of the existing asphalt road system west of Great Bend, Kansas, in support of local and commercial traffic in and near the Airport Industrial Park. Specific sections include 2.25 miles of SW 40 Avenue, from US-56 junction north to the intersection with West Barton County Road, as well as a 2.5 miles section of West Barton County Road from the West 50 Avenue intersection east to the west city limits of Great Bend.
