If you intend to bid on property, it is your responsibility to have research the property before the time of sale.  It is important that you realize that if you buy a property, that you are buying it in its present condition, as is, with no warranties of any kind, either express or implied, conveyed by Barton County.  The County is simply selling property for unredeemed taxes as authorized by statute.  The County at no time is involved in the chain of title on any of the properties being sold.

 If the city in which a property is located makes a claim for unpaid mowing or similar maintenance charges against the property and the purchaser at tax sale, any such dispute is between that city and the purchaser at tax sale.  Properties can be redeemed until Noon, Monday, October 21, 2019.  It is anticipated that this listing will change as properties are redeemed.  It is the County’s intent to keep the listing up to date.  The final listing will be available prior to the sale.
