RFP 800mhz Radios for Claflin Fire District

RE: CLAFLIN FIRE DISTRICT #1 REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
Claflin Fire District #1 is accepting proposals for 800mhz radio equipment.
800mhz Mobile Radios:
*8 Mobile Radios: APX 1500 Enhanced Mobile 7/800mhz, or equivalent in another brand or model. With standard 3 year warranty, SW P25 trunking ability, standard palm mic., antenna and add: APX 02 CH.
*28 Portable Radios: APX 900 7/800mhz Model 2 portable radios capable of paging, or equivalent in another brand or model. With standard 3 year warranty, SW P25 trunking ability, Lapel mic., ¼ wave “stubby” antenna, 12 desktop chargers and 12 spare batteries.
*24 Pagers: Unication G4 Single Band P25 Voice Pager, or equivalent in another brand or model.
TIMING
Winning bidder will provide a starting date for programming and installation of the radio and pager equipment. No more than 30 days from the date the equipment arrives at the vendor. A programming template will be provided.
TERMS
Vendor’s payment schedule approved with Fire District acceptance of project.
PROPOSAL FORM
Vendor shall provide, upon company stationary, information requested within the proposal form. Included shall be prices. Provided shall also be an estimate of time necessary for the completion of the project. Fire District #1 is exempt from State and Local Sales Taxes.
Proposals shall be returned no later than 3:00 p.m., October 29, 2021 in a sealed envelope marked “2021 Claflin Fire District #1 800mhz Radio Proposal”. Awarding of the contract is expected to be in November, 2021 by the Barton County Commission at a regular meeting. The Fire District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals.

Claflin Fire District #1 reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities. In the case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating the specifications, the Fire District reserves the right to waive irregularities or reject the bid.
This expenditure could be supported, in whole or in part, by the Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds, awarded to Barton County by the U.S. Department of Treasury.
